Research is an often misused term, its usage in everyday language is very different to understand the strict scientific meaning. To understand the use of statistics, one needs to know a little bit about experimental design or how a researcher conducts investigations. An understanding of methodology will assist our understanding of basic research. These methods vary by the sources of information that 's collected, how that information is sampled, and the types of tools that are used in data collection. There are several ways to explore a different way to obtain research, which is also seen as traditional. The two types of traditional research methods that are adjusted mostly are qualitative data and quantitative data. Qualitative research emphasizes the natural setting and the points of views of the research participants. Qualitative I see as more interactive and in-depth research. Quantitative data measures quantify data and generalize results from a sample to the population of interest. This is a man focus on number and data collected. Both qualitative data and quantitative data both help theorist and scientist further expand their research and theories to the public. Each is unique and assist on different levels. On one side, it pulls data from the gathered research and the other works with the description like texture, color, etc. Common research designs and data collection methods can consist of case studies, survey sampling, experiments, and interviewing.
