1.1 Explain the meaning of Diversity in detail

Diversity refers to the variety of backgrounds, orientations and experiences created within our community. When a community is diverse there is the presence of different points of views and ways of making meaning which flow from the variety within it. This variety arises out of different cultural, racial, ethnic, religious, gender, socioeconomic class, political, developed abilities, and/or sexual orientation. However, even as we recognize that diversity is multi-faceted, we must remember that some aspects of diversity ( i.e., race, gender) have proven particularly difficult to embrace. Those aspects of diversity deserve special ongoing attention.

2.1 Describe ways of how groups may differ from one another for example religious beliefs and culture practices.

Religion: Religious belief refers to a faith or creed concerning the supernatural, sacred, or divine. It may concern the existence, nature and worship of a deity or deities and divine involvement in the universe and human life. It may also relate to the values and practices based on the teachings of a spiritual leader. Unlike other belief systems, religious belief tends to be codified. While often used synomously with religion, in this article religious belief will be assumed to refer to ideas rather than practices.
People with exclusivist beliefs sometimes typically explain other religions as either in error, or as corruptions or counterfeits of the true faith. Examples include:
Christian View Muslim View
One God in Three persons: The Trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit One God in One person. No worship, prayer, or praise of Jesus or the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit dwells inside every believer No concept of the Holy Spirit
God gave and preserved His words in the Bible Allah gave His words in the Bible, but was incapable/unable to preserve it from corruption.
