What is Diversity? Webster Dictionary defines diversity as “the quality or state of having many different forms, types, ideas, etc.” (Merriam-Webster, 2015), However, according to Ron Burgundy “Well I could be wrong, but I believe that diversity was an old, old wooden ship that used during the Civil War era” (Mackay, 2004). This was one of my favor movies, and I have use this for training when covering the topic of diversity. Diversity in its basic function is acceptance of all people, without prejudice to their ethnicity, gender, race, color, culture or heritage.
