Tiredness Kills! Why risk the lives of innocents just to save a few pennies. What is saving money when compared to saving lives?
Junior doctors are being asked to work day in and out and we do not acknowledge them enough, as they are the ones who barely get to sleep at night, since they are fulfilling the needs of patients whilst we are sleeping in our cosy bedding. Then we have the audacity to mistreat them and offer unreasonable pay: this is just outrageous. Jeremy Hunt has utilized his authority in an unacceptable manner that should not be tolerated as it sets a bad example to the general public instead he should be praising the Junior Doctors and should try and contemplate to their demands.
Consequently, due to the lack of leadership shown by Jeremy Hunt and the government this has led to Junior Doctors going on strike, which has caused many problems for patients who are suffering from all kinds of illnesses and setbacks. Therefore, Junior Doctors being available to the NHS is vital as they have plenty of experience with their training courses, which can last up to7 years, and they did have to endow many costs to actually qualify to become a Junior Doctor. Jeremy Hunt is attempting to manipulate them into accepting an11% increase in basic salary, which will better him and the government financially. As Junior Doctors will not be receiving premium pay for working hours on weekends which they so rightfully deserve due to them giving up spending time with their families to work incredibly long hours non-stop. Then when they want to stand up and negotiate the government is treating them disrespectfully as the entire issue is not being taken seriously
