The word family has been around for centuries now, but has rarely been talked about. We all have a family whether it be big or small and in that family, we have parts of the family that all contribute to one another to make a whole. The parts of the family usually include a father, a mother, sometimes a sibling and our self.
The first and one of the most important part of the family is a father. A father is someone who is there for you when you need him, but he also tends to be the strictest. He knows the mistakes children tend to make and tries to teach us wrong from right. For most girls growing up we tend to be daddy’s girl and while that has its perks it’s also gives the father a chance to explain the rules of dating and how guys should treat you. Most of the time us girls do not listen and in the end, we regret our decision, but the great thing about a father is he understands and tries to give advice to make things better. Now, if you are a boy growing up around a father may seem like a war zone at times. The boy usually thinks he is grown up by the age of 16 or 17 when in fact he still has a lot to learn. During those teenage years, its criterial the father teach his son to be respectful and also teach him how to treat women. Boys usually take longer to mature because they like to push their buttons and see how far they can get before they get in trouble.
