To explain, a person who is a drug dealer/user. You have been doing/ selling drugs for a couple years. Then one day, you are caught by the police, and end up in jail. When you get out on parole, you start making changes. First, you stop talking to everyone that influenced you to do the bad things that you did before. In addition, it would lead to healthier choices and lifestyle. Last, find a place to practice your “new” religion. When you are new to a religion, you need to find a home church; temple or place that has people you can associate with that practice it too.
