Chanel is one of the most famous fashion companies to this day. Through having a successful company one must advertise there company in several ways. Chanel along with many more high class companies do this by creating short films, magazine ad’s, bill boards, ads, and celebrity endorsements. This ad has the celebrities Keira Knightley and Russian Danila Kozlovsky. The ad itself is set inside one of Andy Warhol’s factories, also known as the “Sliver Factory”, the ad is a allusion to it. His factories, where clubs or the elite only, shows the glamours parts of France, or an elite and glamours “world”. People who went to these clubs where usually there were film performers, drug addicts, socialites, drag queens, musicians, free thinkers who became the Warhol super stars. By …show more content…
While even Danila looks a bit different wearing a almost gray suit and a white dress shirt, while most men are wearing all black. The whole ad has a someone mysterious feeling to it, and some magic when we see in the final moment when Danila is about to reach Keira she magically disappears. The whole time its the man is chasing the scent, and getting closer and closer to catching her. They show some of the most glamours place’s in France, one again keeping up with the whole elite and glamours theme. The music is an upbeat song called She’s Not there by the Zombies 1965 song. Adweek.com says and refers to it as “ as well as the inexplicable gift of teleportation, plays a game of cat and mouse with her would-be suitor, dropping a bottle of Coco Mademoiselle as her glass slipper before magically disappearing in a burst of sparkles.” There giving the allusion of cat and mouse, reference to chasing each other, the man chasing the women. The ad is appealing mainly to the rich and luxury class. The people who have wealth and can afford products like this or people who are part of an elite
