Widad Akrawi ‘s 2014 statement stating that ‘We are determined to answer evil with GOOD, slavery with FREEDOM, rape with hope! We are against slavery, rape, beheading, torture, violations of human rights, corruption and misuse of religion!’ rings a bell for a lot of people. Inquiring minds may ask about the meaning of the title mean in regards to the first half of the title of this paper. Consider the state of the Middle East in relation to the influence of Saudi Arabia. Are they a good influencer of regional stability or are they the cause of all the carnage internationally considering out of 19 terrorists there were 15 Saudi participants in 9/11? Should the West be withdrawing their support to the Saudis? Are These questions will be answered in this essay for the masses to read and share.
Considering the common factor of the Middle East’s problems being religious strife and the lack of education, it is rather appropriate that the questions at hand should be answered by taking a look at an article called “Unstable, Unruly and Reprobate.” By Jamsheed and Carol E.B.
