Jonathan Cahn believes that the first Harbinger is of the breach of the covenant. The author believes that the United States is similar to ancient Israel in the way that they both breached the covenant it made with God. Both of the nations apparently broke their covenant when the countries were founded. Cahn believes that the protection God provided around the United States was broken on 9/11. Earlier in ancient Israel the country had to replace all of its sycamore trees with cedar trees. This is significant to modern day because after 9/11 attacks, a shock wave was created that destroyed lots of buildings in the area. One building was not harmed by the shock wave and that was the St. Paul's Chapel, this building had a sycamore tree next to it. The next significant tree and Harbinger was the Erez tree. The Next Harbinger is similar to the last because, just like ancient Israel replaced all of its sycamores with cedars. The United States tried planting a new tree next to the old tree. This tree however failed to grow and mature this is significant because, just like the cedars were never able to replace the beauty of the
