Local inclusion policy and legislation is consistent with international standards however there is still a lack of consistency across states and territories that does not produce successful outcomes Loreman (2002).
Carson et. al. (2012) found that in an Australian study highlights children’s attitudes are influenced by family and community attitudes. However, within the classroom they found that teacher attitudes are the key to an inclusive practice within an educational context with students Carson et.al.(2012)
