Mr. Dean, The primary purpose of my paper is to argue why employers that use social media aren’t invading anyone’s privacy as well as argue why social media can benefit people. Since the world is changing with technology, it is important that the way people search for jobs changes too. For instance, social media is being used more and more for business endeavors. Recruiters and employers are using social media to find that perfect candidate for their job. The specific audience for my paper is Mr. Dean and my English 111 classmates as well as people who are on the job hunt. Some revisions I made to complete my final draft was use the peer responses and the online tutor. The feedback I received from my peers helped me re-word my paper to make my points stronger and clearer. The other feedback I received was from the online tutor tool on IvyTeach Learn. Since the millennial era began, new ideas have been evolving such as technology. The millennial generation has launched many new ideas, including more sophisticated technology. Technology presents opportunities in every field, but entering the workforce is challenging. Globalization has completely changed the job search process. Many people looking for jobs today are those who were raised with technology and are seeing a change in the way employers use technology too. Where is the first place to search for employees? Newspaper? Website? Social media? Employers are using social media to find the finest candidate for a specific job.
