Kids should get healthy and nutritious meals at school. Since almost one out of three children in the United States are considered overweight schools need to encourage healthy eating. The Institute of Medicine recommends that school lunches should have more fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Sadly, the cost of fresh produce would increase the cost of school lunches.
