Are school lunches really good for you?
Breann Balcer (sorry I couldn’t put more on here)

School lunches are healthy in some areas but not in others. It has been proven that school lunches have a lot of fat, sugar, sodium, carbs, and calories. Many schools give their kids greasy, fake food. Carbs, calories, fats, sodium, and sugar are good for you, but not this much. Fun fact: over 1,000 kids from all over become obese because of their school lunches. School lunches should consist of a fruit, a vegetable, REAL meat, and milk. But my school has pizza, bosco sticks, fake meat, spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, you only need one little bit of a vegetable and a milk. They even have FROZEN strawberries on the menu sometimes. That is not very healthy.

I strongly agree that adding nutritious beverages to school lunches is a logical and reasonable idea. To begin with, when products are locally sourced, the local economy around the school will also receive a boost. Also, when a parent of a school student sends their child, or children, to school, they should not have the need to worry about the things that their kid may drink.…
