Introduction:
Although I often share my opinion about news thinking that it is an opinion I created, there are many factors that have helped to shape my perspective, and make it what it is today. My parents, a Canadian news source and travelling the world are all important factors that have had a profound impact on my perspective. Being self aware about how your views of the world have been affected by others is exceedingly important, and something everyone should be aware of.

My parents, the news source, and travelling are just 3 of the many things that have influenced my perspective, and it is different for everyone. It is also important to know how others view the world, and in some cases imagining the article in their point of view, and how it might change your thoughts. The perspective of a citizen of Turkey on the article rather than my perspective, is completely different, and it is important for everyone to know why. Having your own perspective is extremely important, but being self aware of what has influenced your opinion, takes it one step further, and is something everyone should be knowledgeable
