Many people do not understand the importance of physical fitness and maintaining good health, therefore they ignore physical fitness and activities which then could lead to life threatening conditions such as heart disease, obesity, high blood pressure, and many more. By enduring daily physical activities, you are not only improving the state and condition of your body, but your state of mind as well. This can benefit your mental state of mind by improving your confidence, and make you feel overall better about yourself and your looks. There are four primary components of fitness, cardio-respiratory capacity, muscular capacity, flexibility, and body composition. Cardio-respiratory capacity allows the body to take in oxygen and supply the cells in your body with oxygen which is then converted and used as energy for any type of physical exercise. A few of the long-term benefits of cardio- respiratory training include; decreased heart rate and decreased risk of cardiovascular disease etc. Muscular capacity is when one overloads the various groups of muscles in your body with different types of physical exercises you are not only able to apply more force over a longer period of time, increasing your strength, but you are breaking down the muscle fibres in your body which then recover to become stronger and bigger.
