This plan is not suppose to be ran according to the times, but based on feel. In case if there is an injury or medical problems or safety concerns, one should go on a treadmill or exercise bike as there will be less damage done while still being active. Mileage is important, the goal mileage per week is at 35, but monthly mileage must be greater than the previous month. Remember, NO DAYS OFF! I am aware that I must be motivated in order to continue training at a high rate. My motivation during the summer is to be top 7 when cross country starts as only the top seven will compete at varsity level meets and the lineup is determined by times. During the winter, my motivation is to be running at the prestigious meets, such as, Argo, Springfield, Wanner, Prospect, Conference. Music is an important key to have motivation. Also, I will change workouts in order to have fun.

By being physically fit, one can control blood pressure, prevent cancer, reduce inflammation, boost immune system, prevent cardiovascular disease, and maintain weight. The effects are major as one will be able to live longer. Life is precious, but of course not everyone is special. There are all kinds of factors that will determine one’s life. My life is not special. I’m just another ordinary guy trying to make a name out of himself. As I write this essay, I can’t help but flashback to all the experiences I encountered which led to this time in my life. Athletics defines who I am. There ain’t going to be a Nelson Fernandes if athletics do not exist. That is why I push myself everyday, do one more rep; and no matter what times I run, I ain’t satisfied. Because I know that there is somebody out there right now doing me better than I am doing myself. So, yeah, the word fitness is the only way to be remembered as
