Humans think that they have it all, but really, we are selfish, harmful, greedy, disgusting creatures. We have this so called 'human condition', because we are all of the above.
God created us, in the beginning, to be perfect. But because of man's human nature, we have sin in our lives, hearts, feelings, consciousness, and everything. We ruined it, because we wanted more. In the short story, "The Destructors" by Graham Greene, there is a group of boys who seem at first to be nothing but a harmless little gang causing a little trouble here and there. The story is set right after World War II when there were bombings that caused a lot of destruction and the families that suffered from that had mostly nothing. Then we read on to see how capable these little human beings are of disaster. Because of theis surroundings, and things that were currently happening in their lives, they wanted to express their feelings by destroying someone else's possessions. And that is what they did. They tore down the house of an elderly man, and everything he had to his name.
