The Holocaust: The Hidden Children Of The Holocaust

The Holocaust was an eventful time in history. A lot of things happened that people do not even realize. The holocaust not only affected Jewish people, it also targeted homosexual, women and children. A topic I found interesting about the holocaust was the idea of hidden children. It has rarely been talked about how they hid the identities of Jewish children by given them fake papers and hid them in different places during the holocaust so they could survive. The Hidden children of the holocaust is a topic I never learned about throughout my education career. I chose this topic because I am really interested in learning about the children during the holocaust and reading survivor stories from the children. I chose a topic that I had no previous knowledge about but it is something I want to learn more about through articles and books. A special interest of mine is children and I want work with them later in my life, so the topic hidden children, helps look a different aspect of the holocaust while reading/learning about children in a different atmosphere. I do not know much about my topic as of right now. The only thing I really know is that the children identities were hidden to protect them during this time. They gave the children false papers and change their religions while hiding them in different places. I also know that the children were separated from their families and at the end of the war they tried to find some of the childrens families, but I
