Like how there was a doctor that was actually treating Jane Doe with the information he was given. His name is Dr. Berringer. He is the one that is treating Jane Doe and is on probation for substance abuse. SUBSTANCE ABUSE! Yet, he still is a doctor and does all of his normal work while Dr. Goldman failed a RITE exam while she was knowingly emotionally unstable because of her mother's death and got put on unpaid leave? Just seems a little strange. There were also many doctors at this psych ward that had drinking problems that were still able to continue working. This wouldn’t be as strange if they were sober on the job and their bosses didn’t know about it! This just made the book a little confusing at times because they were not super specific when people were sober or intoxicated. All in all this is a pretty great book for the teenage are because it has things that are to mature for people in the younger category but maybe a little immature for the older audience. It is a great book that could teach many about persistence and that not always “following the crowd” is the best idea… If you enjoy books that keep you on the edge of your seat and keep you wanting more this is the perfect book for
