In this story, Mia and her family are traveling to see some of their friends one day when they are in terrible accident. Now, with her parents dead at the scene and her little brother dying shortly after, Mia must choose whether to live or stay. Her spirit has left her body and she can see all of what is going on. With Gran, Gramps, and her boyfriend by her side, she must make the impossible choice between life and death.
If I Stay takes place in Oregon during the winter season. Some important characters in this book would be Mia, her parents, little brother Teddy, boyfriend Adam, Gran and Gramps, and her best friend Kim. Her Gran and Gramps, and Adam would be antagonist because they are the reason she can’t just give up and die. They would also be protagonist because they are some of the most important people in the book along with her parents and little brother. Adam is round, we know that he is a rock star in a band named Shooting Star, we know how he dresses and that he likes rock music but also he likes classical music. We know that he enjoys reading and

I would recommend this book to my friends because I think they would also enjoy it. My favorite part of the book is when Adam touches her hand and she realizes that she doesn’t think she can leave him even though she wants too. My least favorite part of the book is when she realizes that Teddy is dead because she has already lost her parents and is struggling to survive herself. Overall, this book shows love over powers all and it is one of my favorite books so

I would rate this book 6 or 7 out of 10, because is was very detailed on what it was saying and I could imagine what was going on in the book. The thing that I did not like in the book. The story ends with Scout well on her way to growing up, as well. She now has some idea of what being a lady involves, and she no longer seems to mind so much. But importantly, Lee leaves readers with the remembrance that Scout the narrator is still a little girl.…

The book that I read was called Not My Type by Melanie Jacobson, it has 225 pages. It took me a little under a month to finish this book. The things that I learned in this book is that people aren't always who they say they are. You need to learn to earn trust rather than just giving it out to anyone. When Pepper (main character) gets her wedding called off by her fiance (Landon)her parents paid off the debt from the wedding.…

I would definitely recommend this book to every type of audience. This book is about coping with losing others and learning to improve as a person. As an example of losing others, in the near ending of the story Lena states, “Raven launches herself over the wall, knocking Pippa out of the way just as the guard squeezes the trigger. Pop. Christianity has always been a little confusing for me and how many different types of Christians that there are. I am a newer Christian and I am filled with questions on a daily basis, full of doubt, full of confusion, and sometimes other Christians throw me off with their closed minds and their judgements and smugness. Daniel Taylor asks the question in his book, The Myth of Certainty: The Reflective Christian and The Risk of Commitment, “Do you resent the smugness of close-minded skepticism on the one hand but feel equally uncomfortable with the smugness of close-minded Christianity of the other?” , I immediately was curious about this book.…

God has a Plan Nicholas Sparks has written incredible books throughout his life. One of my favorites by him is Safe Haven. I liked this because Katie never gave up, it's more in depth than the movie, and the book had a terrific ending, so I didn't want to put the book down. Because Erin has been treated like a piece cardboard, she decided that she couldn't handle the abuse anymore from her husband.…

I would recommend this book to people who loves mysteries and also to people who don't have a close relation with their parent because that’s the theme of this book. The author did an amazing job keeping the reader suspense and bringing twists in the story. For example, in the beginning, the reader find out that johnson’s are Janie’s grandparents which lead the reader thinking that Johnsons are the kidnapper, however later on we find out that they were just taking care of Janie because they thought it their daughter Hannah's child. As the book continue, the reader learns that Hannah is actually the kidnapper.…

This novel is executed well, and is able to very clearly show its original story and themes of truth, love, and change. The concepts might have been too mature for me to handle, but I enjoyed reading the novel very much. The novel was very thought provoking and it challenged me to think about a lot of the themes, more than any other novel has before. The characters and stories told in this novel created a feeling of learning new things and I believe that it is a wonderful story for those who like novels of this…

I think the author Nicholas Sparks really got the story to a point where you almost can’t get it better. The way he wrote, is kind of poetic, but at the same time he has an ability to make the text flow beautifully. It did it easy and pleasingly to read and at the same time I really got into the book and how John thought and felt. The way Nicholas Spark put all together makes it to a very realistic book. How it’s not ending that well, for example that Johns dad died in a heart attack and how Savannah left John to marry someone else.…
