Throughout history there have been many wars, natural disasters, and in recent years car accidents. All of these incidents can cause a psychological problem which is named Posttraumatic Stress Disorder or also called PTSD. This disorder is one that no one would wish on their worst enemy due to the fact that a person has relived a deeply traumatic event.
Many people are aware of PTSD due to the fact that many organizations that work with veterans are trying to spread knowledge of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. Posttraumatic Stress Disorder usually involves a person who has experienced a deeply disturbing event to relive it and this can cause disturbances in one’s sleep. The reason why I decided to write about Posttraumatic Stress Disorder is due to the fact that I find it interesting. I find it fascinating how an event can change a person’s way of living or thinking. Researchers have not found any leads on the reason why some people experience resilient after a traumatic experience, but they are hoping that research can clarify this issue. Throughout the day a person who suffers from PTSD has hassles and these hassles can set off an alarm reaction. The effect of several daily occurrences can cause the early release in the GAS. Many people have experienced changes in their sympathetic nervous systems and hormones. Researchers have found that there is a correlation between hassles and the person suffering from the flu, sore throats, or headaches. Studies show that PTSD…
