Thoughtout history there have been many wars,natural disasters, and in recent years car accidents. All of these incidents can cause a psychological problem which is names Posttraumatic Stress Disorder or also called PTSD. This disorder is one that no one would wish on their worst enemy due to the fact that a person has relive a deeply traumatic event.
Many people are aware of PTSD due to the fact that many organizations that work with veterans are trying to spread knowledge of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. Posttraumatic Stress Disorder usually involves the person who has experience a deeply disturbing event to relive the event and this can cause disturbances in one’s sleep. The reason why I decided to write about Posttraumatic Stress Disorder due to the fact that it interests me of how an event can change a person’s way of living or thinking. Researchers have not found the reason why some people experiences resilient after a traumatic experience, but they are hoping that research can clarify this issue. Everyday a person who is suffering from PTSD has hassles and these hassles set of an alarm reaction. There is a correlation between hassles and the person suffering from the flu, sore throats, or headaches. The effect of several daily occurrence can cause the early release in the GAS. Many people have experienced changes in their sympathetic nervous systems and hormones. STudies show that PTSD affects about five men and thirteen women in every thousand American adults.…
