For instance, some factors may be inherited like family history; others may be a pure accident like physical infirmity (webmd.com, n.d.). Numerous tragic deaths, caused by “overwhelming hopelessness or frustration,” can be devastating to family, friends, and general public — which is why majority of the citizens are concern and wonder if anything could be done to help and prevent not only the youth but also the grown-ups from turning to suicide (Lyness, 2015). Teenage suicide cannot be prevented, but it can be reduced through the following: mental health, media, school, and home.
Every culture has a common problem which is suicide. Suicide, regardless of place, may be a result of not only factors, such as complex social, cultural, religious, and socioeconomic, but also mental health. There is no best way to reassure people, especially those who are stressed in searching for answers on why and how to prevent another suicide attempt; in spite of that, there is another way of bringing down teen suicide through social media, since media is an immensely vast platform for people, especially for the youth. Social media is always there and keeping people from using it is an unrealistic way of lessening the risks. Rather than prohibiting, keep ing track of the activities online is more attainable for stopping suicide attempts (Sobowale,
