The Bible is the historically accurate, Holy Spirit inspired, and inerrant word of God. Because the Bible is the inerrant word of God, its’ contents are to be believed and followed. God’s word shows that man and woman were made to complement each other and that homosexual relations are sinful.
The bible has been proven to be a historically accurate document. Archeology has been used to prove the existence of certain people groups mentioned in the bible. On their website, the Institute for Creation Research states that, “Two of the greatest 20th-century archaeologists, William F. Albright and Nelson Glueck, both lauded the Bible (even though they were non-Christian and secular in their training and personal beliefs) as being the single most accurate source document from history” (Biblical Data). This shows that there is archeological evidence that points towards the accuracy of the Bible and its’ content. There are also many writers throughout history who have mentioned events in their writings that confirm the Biblical account of those same events. Another way in which the Bible has been proven accurate are the many prophecies that have been made and fulfilled. Author of the article, “Fulfilled Prophecy: Evidence for the Reliability of the Bible” Dr. Ross talks about a prophecy made by the great prophet Isaiah. the prophecy foretold the fall of Babylon and the domination of Egypt by a conqueror named Cyrus.
