What Juicing Really is
Did you know that a 16 oz juice has the same amount of nutrients as 8 lbs of spinach? (“Benefits”) Many people do not know about juicing; however, there are also some who think that they know everything about the topic. Either way they have a lot to learn; about juicing in itself, or about other people’s experiences. Juicing has helped and will help many people, struggling with weight loss, all over the country. Unfortunately, many Americans still lack information on the many benefits of juicing. Juicing is a topic that not many people have the advantage of knowing about. It can be a tricky subject, when you are deciding whether or not it is beneficial to you and your diet. Everyone must make the decision on whether or not juicing is right for them. So what is juicing? “Juicing 101” states, “Juicing is a term that refers to combining fruits and/or vegetables in a juicer or juicing machine which breaks these foods down into a liquid form.” (“Juicing 101”) With that said people use juicing to help them eat healthier, and even help heal their

If done right, people have lost up to hundreds of pounds, and even helped other do the same. Joe Cross, a regular guy was overweight before he started juicing. He was also on a lot of medication, and almost died on several occasions. Once Joe decided to juice, he made his goal to juice for 60 days straight. Not only did he juice, but he also traveled to America to spread the word about it. During this process he was being filmed for a show called “Fat, Sick, & Nearly Dead” After losing the weight he went even further and helped film sequel “Fat, Sick, & Nearly Dead 2” (“Fat, sick, & nearly dead”). Weight loss might be hard to accomplish when first starting juicing, and weight gain may even come across if not careful. However if a person knows what they are doing, and how to juice by using other people 's experiences, than it just might turn out to work for
