When I was first asked this question at a much younger age I honestly thought the answer was yes. I was blind to the things that media and the government was feeding us, now my answer is a strong no. Within the novel Night we follow the tragic story of a boy who was persecuted due to his government not agreeing with his religion. Although this is a very extreme example I find that we still see corrupt governments to this very day. This true story follows Elie a young boy who is losing all faith due to the terrible government. This novel really encourages the audience to open their eyes at what's going on in the world. Elie was too late, he couldn't stop having," One less reason to live" day after day just because of what his government did
