I am a Catholic and it seemed to me that the way the story was presented has relevance to the prevalent notion of going to church being nowadays a status symbol rather than a semblance of faith. There are indeed many Charmois’ in the church and it is frustrating as a catholic how their influence has consumed a religion. The utter display of disrespect in religious ceremony is not new such as dressing improperly for church like Mrs. Charmois. Writings that would have the effect of offending religious feelings do not received a positive response of Catholics and it is for this reason that I admire Rob
