Although we may not see the main point at first, we can figure it out by studying the meaning within the song. “Make it stop” is a prime example of this. With the hidden meaning within the lyrics to the stories it plays within the music video, we can interpret the song many different ways. The main point of this song is to bring awareness to bullying and suicide. It is a way to show how a big event can lead to another devastating event. By standing up for those who go through the same brutal process each day, we can stop acts of suicide and the events that lead up to it. Even the song gives hope when it all seems lost. By showing that the pain and suffering will soon end, people considering suicide are shown a new light. Rise Against has created a masterpiece in which we find hidden meanings.
