The CSH currently uses e-mail as it’s primary way of communication however, not all e-mails are shared with the necessary people especially part time employees. It has been my experience that the CSH administrative staff are currently working on refining interdisciplinary communication pertaining to client needs. Providing ways of transport for patient families would enhance program enrollment. Many times the writer of this paper has seen premature discharge of patients due to parent inability to transport themselves to the hospital especially those who live further distances from the in-patient facility. These patients opt for out-patient therapy.
Social Work Policy The CSH adheres to The Joint Commission (TJC) standards of care. The CSH organization constantly reviews and enhances policies that establishes quality care that meets accreditation standards. Employees are given training on a weekly bases of the policies of the CSH. Accreditation is focused on patient safety.
