According to the United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention, childhood obesity in the United States has more than double in children and quadrupled in adolescents in the past 30 years. Statistics that are no different in the Dallas community. In fact, 1 in every 4 children under the age of 12 in our community suffered from obesity and many other health conditions that are related to obesity, such as diabetes, high cholesterol levels, anxiety, kidney disease, and risk of heart disease. Therefore, at Tenet Healthcare, we are committed to developing new innovative and interactive ways to address obesity in our Dallas community.

As a company specialized in the pursuit of healthier, happier lives, we will provide our attendees with the necessary tools to change their lifestyles and adopt healthy habits. The introduction of physical activity in our community will also result in an increase of academic excellence. Studies have shown that students that are involved in sports and have a healthy diet perform better in the classroom. Therefore, we are not only investing in the health of our community, but also our children’s education.
