A computational model for developing individuals or groups is situational leadership theory. The situational leadership theory is a design of an agent-based leadership support system. One of the crucial factors that affect team performance is development within a group. The situational leadership theory monitors and analyzes the development level over time. The method provides different points in time for effective leadership behavior to the group leaders.
A leadership role is defined as the process of influencing activities of a group or an individual towards goal achievement in a given situation. The intellectual leadership provides a bridge between groups, organizations, and individual considerations of justice and is grounded in an appreciation of useful purpose. A social constructionist approach to explore how pieces of individuals’ lives become re-constructed, related, and crafted into meaning over time. Interviews and focus groups were semi-structured and inquired into some broad areas. Further research should look to other professions with essential systems of professional values to which individuals might have a felt sense of vocation.
