After some readings about Buddhism, I could see some similarities and differences with other schools of thought such as Taoism and Confucianism more precisely. Similarities with the Taoism such as they are both not a religion but a philosophy where both believe that each person can get better and when following the way for the Taoists or striving for perfection for the Buddhists. One other big similarity would be how both schools of thought perceived woman as equals to man at that early time in history.
