Should The Uk Leave The European Union

I believe that the United Kingdom should stay with the European Union. Staying in the European Union comes with many more benefits than leaving. Leaving would cause many more problems that the United Kingdom would have to deal with that they should not have to. Also, leaving may come with benefits, but compared to the benefits of staying, they would be minimal. The United Kingdom staying in the European Union would include keeping treaties with other countries also in the EU, citizens of the EU would be able to have jobs they want from free movement, control may seem limited by staying but it really is not, trade between countries will remain easy and free, and labor shortages will hold back the economy. Many benefits would come with the United Kingdom staying in the European Union. One of them being that they could keep the same treaties with other countries that they already have. Which would eliminate the time it would take to go to each one of those countries and remake and re-discuss new treaties. Another benefit from staying in the EU would be that the citizens of the UK and every EU country could pursue and job that they wish to have no matter what country out of the EU in which they live. There are some theories that the United Kingdom being involved in the European union restricts the idea of parliament sovereignty, this being that the fact parliament is no longer the supreme law maker, as they have to involve European laws into the United Kingdom so the fact that parliament didn't make the law goes against the quote 'What the Queen in Parliament enacts is law'. The British constitution can be summed up in eight words, "what the queen in parliament enacts is law". This means that parliament using the crown, enacts law what no other body can challenge. In A.V. Dicey main theory in the law of constitution 1885 ; witch is sometimes seen as an out dated theory being one hundred and…

David Cameron should be sorting it all out now, not leaving it to someone else, then he could have left in 4 or 5 months with his head held high, knowing he's done a good job for his country, instead he's slinking off with his tail between his legs. Now we've got our Chancellor, George Osborne, and the governor of the bank of England, talking our economy down, just because they lost the referendum, and that causes uncertainty around the world. Then we've got the BBC only reporting all the bad stuff and none of the positive things we have a chance at achieving now, the BBC have been biased against us voting 'leave' all the way through the campaign.…

The trade cycle between the colonies and Britain would have sustained the colonies for a long time, even longer then what the colonies allowed it to do. Over time, the economy of the colonies could be strengthened to that equal power of Britain. A war could have easily been prevented if the colonists had not separated. This, over time, would have helped the colonists as with more people, progress moves faster. This would have helped more than losing lives.…

This parliament does not have the power that the European Union Legislation does. The UK parliament is allowed to pass laws which focus on a certain area of the UK. An example of this would be to pass laws which only apply to Scotland. This makes the UK parliament higher to Scottish parliament as they have power over decisions made for Scotland.…

The United States of America had just won her independence from Great Britain and is starting to prosper. The United States is winning wars and expanding, becoming more powerful, recently defeating the pirates of Tripoli and making themselves known as a military power. However there are still those who continue to pick on the United States, not respecting it as an independent power, and that of course is Great Britain. I suppose you can say after their defeat here in America and we made them tuck tail and go home, it did not sit well with the world’s super power.…

Many economists attest to the fact that austerity fails to reduce deficits and debts and during Cameron's reign, the financial position of U.K. was significantly worse. In comparison to other countries, U.K.'s economic performance was worse than that of France and particularly and many several countries in the European Union bloc. In the first two years, Cameron's government had worse numbers than Spain. It is evident that austerity serves no financial purpose. Alas, despite the desire for some Europeans to create a United States of Europe, I do not believe this goal is feasible. European countries have unique histories and cultures that stretch back hundreds and even thousands of years. Competing cultures lead to conflict and eventually to war. Wars have occurred throughout European history, but not until the twentieth century did a war have the ability to totally reset the previous norms in Europe. The First World War infamously nicknamed “The War to end all Wars” occurred between 1914 and 1918.…

Firstly, The European Union requires fund to run and the countries like Germany, France and the UK pay high fees because of its financial status and the fact that UK is contributing more to the EU budget than they get out of it means UK was being overcharged for membership. Nobody likes to get overcharged. Secondly, most of the decisions taken by the EU is considered to be controlled by Germany and are in its favor. Besides that, the European Commission decided that Europe would open the door to migrants from the Middle East which Britain didn’t want. If we see it from the economic point of view the Brexit is not a right decision.…

When people think of British culture they automatically think of their charming accents and tea, but there is so much more than that.
