Should Cigarette Smoking be Made Illegal?

A cigarette is a small cylinder like filled with cut tobacco leaves and rolled in a paper and ignited for smoking. In most countries, tobacco smoking is legal due to the businesses motives and also the people who are addicted. They cannot do without it. It has immense consequences, and it should, therefore, be illegal from the effects to the smokers, passive smokers and all the human beings due to the pollution of the environment. The following are some of the consequences from smoking tobacco:

The tobacco farming brings a lot of revenues to the farmers when they sell it, and it becomes their source of living. In these tobacco farms, there is also people employed and hence forms sources of employment to them and get their daily bread from it and be able to raise their families. The government also earns a lot of revenues from the taxation of the businesses in cigarettes of which they use for the development of even other sectors of the economy. There is a lot who earns from the tobacco smoking to the individual farmers, the employed and also to the government leading to the overall society benefiting from it from the revenues earned. This makes the cigarettes smoking to be advantageous and hence should be legalized due to the benefit accrued from it (Proctor, 2013).
In conclusion due to the many negative effects of smoking cigarettes that shows that it leads to very serious health issues of diseases which are incurable to even the passive smokers. And even to the unborn babies with the pregnant women and also the increased crimes from addiction hence finds illegal ways to get the money to buy the cigarettes. The cigarette smoking should be made illegal in all the countries. Also, the education about the dangers of smoking the cigarettes should be introduced especially to the youths and the uneducated people, especially in the low developing countries. This will greatly help to avoid entering in the smoking habit and hence moving away from these menace brought
