There is no evidence that marijuana has a physical dependence like many other drugs do. Some people may argue that it becomes physically addictive, or the smoke is bad for your lungs. We should not be under the impression that marijuana has no harm. Tobacco has very bad affects on lung function, and other pulmonary functions of the body, yet is still totally legal. Binge drinking of alcohol, common dangerous, and costly to society also totally legal. Marijuana on the other hand has, no impact on lung function, no impact on pulmonary function, and no impact on mortality. Still it is almost always illegal. I am not trying to say that marijuana should be sold in isles of the supermarkets, and places like alcohol, and cigarettes are sold. Here in America, and in many other parts of the world, you need a good reason to make something illegal. There are a lot of things that are dangerous, but regulated for sale. In America we don’t let kids buy tobacco or alcohol, totally makes since the same should apply to marijuana. We don’t let people drive under the influence of alcohol, witch makes since the same should apply for marijuana. Which has been show to impair drivers significantly as well. There have been mutable studies done on driving under the influence, and it shows that it does affect drivers a lot with impaired judgment.
