The pharmaceutical industry is having a huge anti-legalization claim because medical marijuana would basically drive them out of business. Medical marijuana has many uses for all kinds of different patients which include: cancer, stress, PTSD, and many more medical diseases people struggle with daily. Marijuana has been tested, and proved to be better than some of the prescription drugs given out today. Thus, leaving the pharmaceutical industry to feel threatened which could lead to big companies to pay politicians to indicate against the legalization.
