Have you ever had a really long day, where your teacher is running around, trying to staple all of your homework assignments, you hardly have any time to relax, and you don't learn much? I'm sure that ALL of us have. The simplest way to fix this is in three words: All the Arts. If you're like me, you chose science, but I'm sure many of you thought: NONE OF THEM! The “why” is most likely because of boredom, which all of us have endured. According to the website http://www.livescience.com/1308-students-bored-school.html, “Two out of three high-school students in a large survey say they are bored in class every single day.” How would you solve that problem? Although this problem cannot be solved, one step toward ending it would be All the Arts. All the Arts is a great “stretch break” for kids who get bored easily. Mrs. Cockerill, a teacher at Acacia Elementary School, explained that for about an hour and a half, your brain is active, but at about 2 hours, you stop paying attention well enough.
