My first reason for changing the driving age to twenty is because fewer deaths and accidents would occur. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 3,827 drivers in the 15-20 age bracket died in 2002. In several countries, they have done research on raising the driving age and found out that when younger people start driving, they are more likely to crash. These requires teens to spend more of their time driving with their parents, or any adult experienced driver, before they are on their own.
