EduChatter contains blog entries from educational consultants that specialize in “raising critical issues” and “tracking emerging trends.” It consists of viewpoints and informed opinions on matters relating to the state of Canadian K-12 education. Their posters tend to be very passionate about what they do, and full of ideas related to the educational reform. One of the bloggers, Paul Bennett, says he is “committed to independent thinking, sound ideas, and better schools in Canada.” In this specific entry, Mr. Paul Bennett addresses how school uniforms will be required more now than ever in American schools and compares the results to Canadian schools. I plan to use this source because I feel like it would be good to give my audience a comparison of American and Canadian schools and how they handle the issue of school uniforms differently. This source also lists several possible benefits and downsides expressed by high school students and parents regarding the issue, which I think would also be a good bonus for my entire research project.
