The article contains tips for companies striving to meet OSHA’s criteria on how to perform accident prevention plans, how to respond to accidents in the workplace, and external investigations. When developing an accident prevention plan the main idea of the plan is to define safety issues in the workplace and then coordinate ways to eliminate and reduce environmental threats. The accident prevention plan guides employees on how they respond if an accident occurs. The plan should not be a generic version.
