Is the Rover Curiosity A Possible Solution?
The idea of a human mission to planet Mars has been capturing the attention of everybody. It has manifested itself in cinema, art, and literature. In order for this to happen scientist have to determine if Mars can support life. On November 26, 2011 NASA launched a robotic space probe mission to Mars, called “Mars Science Laboratory”. This mission successfully landed Curiosity rover in Mars on August 6, 2012 (Space). The objectives of this mission included investigating Mars’ habitability, studying its climate, and collecting data for a manned mission to mars in the future. The Mars Science Laboratory mission is an incredible mission that will change humanity forever. The first reason is being able to ensure the survival of our species (Orwig). By ensuring our species, we are ensuring all the work and information gathered throughout the years. The second reason is the opportunity to discover and learn new things from another planet. New discoveries from Mars can even help us learn more about our planet Earth. The last reason is that Mars is the most habitable planet in our solar system (Mars-one). For one thing, the temperature is not too cold or too hot. Without a doubt, this mission will create changes in our history.

It will be a great opportunity that can open many doors to knowledge. In order to save our species, we have to find possible solutions. By doing this, we are saving the work of thousands of persons that make up the history of our planet, Earth. Additionally, we should focus more on losing the fear of knowing what is out there in space. The things that we can discovered in Mars can also help save the environment of planet Earth.
