First off, people shouldn’t go to Mars for many reasons, some of these reasons are more obvious than other but still important. One of the main reasons why humans shouldn’t go to Mars is because we already have a rover on Mars name Curiosity. Things Rover has not found signs of life but has discovered many things about Mars such as strange objects and materials. This means that there is no point in going to Mars because there are no signs of life or liquid water that is necessary. This also means that people shouldn't go to Mars because there is already a rover there doing the for them. One last reason why people shouldn’t go to Mars is because there are so many risks of Death in atmospheric pressure, temperature, and common casualties such as sickness or even as simple as a suit ripping. These can also be fatal because the pressure is so different there that anyone would die in seconds if something went wrong and their body met the outside air. The temperature also gets as low as 150°C which would cause death by freezing but a human would die by the pressure way before freezing. Let alone all of these horrible casualties, there would also be extreme boredom because all day people would do chores, go to the bathroom, and then conduct research. These are only a few of the many reasons of why not to waste time going to

Sending Humans to Mars: The Next Giant Leap for Mankind When Neil Armstrong landed on the moon he spoke the iconic line “one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.” Sending people to Mars would produce the same reaction. It would be mankind’s next leap, maybe even the greatest leap of all time. If landing astronauts on Mars was achieved it would be quite a feat, but taking this leap isn’t the only reason why we should get people to the red planet. Sending humans to Mars is critical because life could be discovered; the quality of life on Earth could improve, and the human race has a greater chance of survival.…

The major issue being people feel that there other pressing matters that need scientist need to pay attention to rather than focusing on trying to get to Mars. An example, some feel that the scientist should focus on observing Earth, because due to neglect an aging fleet of Earth orbiting satellites is leading to a significant degradation of human ability to measure changes in Earth’s climate. However, some believe that if NASA diverts its attention and resources not to a mission to Mars, but a mission to establish a moon base that it will solve this current issue (Baum, R. M., 2007). Another major issue that has people question if going to Mars is the right decision is the risk of human life. Attempting to establish a colony on Mars is a costly and research intensive endeavour. It will take a very special group of people to travel to Mars and spend their whole lives there. These volunteers will need to be very well trained. It will also take a lot of resources to sustain this colony, especially in its early days. If the target of 2025, which is only eleven years away, is to be met, a very large expenditure will need to be made on research due to our very limited understanding of how our bodies react to zero gravity and a far lower atmospheric pressure.…
