Why We Shouldn T Colonize Mars

Mars is the fourth planet from the sun. It is known as the Red Planet. Many scientist and engineers have been trying to get people up to Mars and colonize it. However, we shouldn’t go up to Mars in an attempt to colonize the planet. It would be very time consuming. Along with this, there would be many health issues we would have to solve. Also, a lot of safety concerns are also present. Here is why we shouldn’t go and colonize Mars. If we did go to Mars, it would take humans a really long time to arrive at Mars. In the Scope Magazine article it says that, “Just getting there could take up to ten months.” That means that the astronauts would be in spaceship for ten months before they would land on Mars. On the other hand, it only took us four days to arrive to the moon. Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX, would like to get people up to Mars by 2024. However, one spaceship can only be sent out every 26 months. That would mean that we would have to wait 26 months, or two years and two months, to launch one spaceship.
