Fate is the belief of an individual life that has been chosen for them and nothing they can do to change it. Fate is described in the document as the “fearful passage of their death-mark’d love” (DBQ-Who’s to Blame) meaning that Romeo and Juliet love will be doomed, but their love is more important than their parents hate. Romeo and Juliet’s love never lasted long, even though they did not want to accept fate, they accept it anyways.
