I chose to analyze Robert Higgs interview as I was able to understand and relate to this podcast. Higgs made plenty of valid points and states some very strong opinions. Specifically, the idea he presented about how World War II assisted the economy to become stronger and stable. This was cause because of increased demand for manual labor in other such as fighting, however when the war started we sent over people that were vital to our economy. Most economist believed that this war would remove us from the Great Depression. Higgs stated in the podcast that there was no improvement in the economy until after the war. The government had to intervene and develop subsides. This was not a common view from an economist, but it was a valid point he
