Genesis 9:6 - Whoso sheddeth man 's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.
In this scripture I feel like it basically states that if you kill a man by human hands then the man that kill, should also be killed by human hands. God created us in his image, so if we kill a human it’s like taking apart of God because we were all created in his image. It is morally wrong, because God created man and if someone kills we are taking that away from God. “A man who sheds another man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed” this reminds me of retaliation because it’s saying if you shed blood your will be shed too, or if you kill you shall be killed by human hands too.
Leviticus 24:17 - And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death.
This scripture is similar to Genesis 9:6, but Genesis 9:6 stated that a man that killed should be killed by another man’s hand. Well this scripture also states that any man that kills should also die, but it doesn’t state how they should die, it could be by man’s hands or any other possible death including the death penalty. If a man kills he should be put straight to death. I believe we should follow this because anyone that kills under the circumstance not including work, should be put to death. Murder is morally wrong and we should abide by what God says!
