As Blair sits up on the broken mattress, he peers outside the broad window only to be presented with a desolated field covered with puddles, a sky full of ominous clouds, harsh showers of rain and no sign of sunlight. The sounds get more distinguishable, aggressive growls echo throughout the entire house. He paces down the stairs, step by step eventually arriving at the base of the staircase. Blair creeps around the house, heavy breaths are heard from Blair, every step he takes his heart beats faster, tingles running down his spine, veins pulsing with anxiety and muscles alert with fear.
Another set of growls are heard, just more aggressive. Scatters are head on the roof, leading to the front door. He broke into a sweat, his heart was pounding with fear, clammy hands and a shaking body. He needs some sort of protection, a weapon of some sort. Blair grabs for a wooden spoon, keeping a vice grip on it, his body’s shaking, hesitation with every step he takes.
Tick, tick, tick, the sound of the clock matches the beat of his heart. The constant rain keeps Blair alert of his surroundings. Ding! Dong! The door bell snatches Blair’s attention.
