Deforestation in the Amazon Rainforest affects human lives and will make the future collapse if humans continue their acts. Deforestation deals with Life Science, Meteorology, and Ethics. My project timeline consists of Research, Elaboration, Writing, Crafting, and Demonstrating. I will research about the effects of Deforestation and their importance,

The cycling in the ecosystems will eventually not happen so the ecosystem will fall apart. Other trees that have already grown are blocking the sunlight from reaching the sprouts. In other words many sprouts are competing for the sparse amount of sunlight. The sprouts may also be competing for water and other ingredients necessary to grow.…

The Global Biome I choose is the Tropical Rain forest, and one of the ecosystems found in this global Biome is the Amazon Rain forest. Animals like the jaguar, sloth, anaconda, toucan, ocelot, macaw and the famous piranha are among many others that can be found in this ecosystem. A symbiotic relationship in this ecosystem will be Mutualism. Animals like the sloth who’s main diet are trees, herbs and grasses (Hofreiter, Poinar, Spaulding,…,2000) can get benefit from plants without harming them and helping them spread. The plants get benefit from the sloth when seeds fall onto the animal’s fur and when he/she moves around the ecosystem, that’s when the seeds fall on the ground and plant themselves.…

Think back to the last vacation you had overseas and how many American companies you may have seen in that foreign country. Whether it was McDonalds or a JW Marriott, western culture is an overarching presence in Latin America. Not only can it potentially interfere with the current culture of the country, it also exploits the land and resources in the area. In Through the Arc of the Rainforest, Yamashita discusses the globalization process through overarching American corporations westernizing Southern America. Rainforests are bursting with life. Not only do millions of species of plants and animals live in rainforests, but people also call the rainforest their home. In fact, indigenous, or native, peoples have lived in rainforests for many thousands of years. Early accounts of these people by European explorers indicate a far denser population lived in the forest than today. Many of these original peoples, such as the Caribs (after whom the Caribbean Sea is named) have disappeared completely.…

It is very awful, and the rainforest is important for all over the world. The rainforest gets ruined more and more for each day passing by. Every time a tree or plant gets destroyed, a little piece of the environment gets worse.…

As the global demand for resources such as soy and beef increases, the Amazon’s rate of destruction also increases. The forest is cleared every day to expand for more land to be used for cattle and crops. The most efficient way for farmers to clear forests is to use fire to burn the trees, but as a result the blaze often spreads to nearby areas and leads to uncontrollable forest fires that can only be stopped by letting it burn out. Even worse, cattle pastures take up about 80 percent of the deforested areas in the Amazon, and because of this innumerable amount of cattle, there is excessive runoff which contaminates the 4,100 miles of river, spreading the corruption throughout the entire…
