Although this information was not available for the census tract, air pollution index for Arlington scored at 109, Tarrant County at 108, and Texas 95 in comparison to the National average of 100. Although there was no specific information for census tract 1220.01, the city of Arlington and the state of Texas both analyze drinking water. According to Arlington Water Utilities, Arlington water supply meets all state and federal regulations. All regulated substances detected during the last year were found to be below the established maximum contaminant levels. Some substances that are detected in water could cause taste, color, or odor problems, but should not be a cause for health concerns since Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) are met. These substances include lead, copper, fluoride, nitrogen, and barium. Coliform bacteria naturally present in the environment, are used as indicators of microbial contamination of drinking water. These bacterium are easily detected; although, coliform bacterium are not disease producers, they are often found in association with other microbes that are capable of causing diseases. Therefore, their absence from water is a good indication that the water is safe for human

Evidence and Analysis: The literature Ksp for calcium hydroxide is 5.02×〖10〗^(-6), which is a relatively large Ksp value. This goes against the “rules of solubility” that labels calcium hydroxide as insoluble. According to the “rules of solubility”, calcium hydroxide should not be soluble in water; however, our results reveal that it does have some degree of solubility at standard conditions. We know this because we started with an initial concentration of calcium hydroxide and no concentration of either calcium or hydroxide ions. However, when this reaction reached equilibrium, we found a concentration of calcium hydroxide to be 1.1×〖10〗^(-2) M, concentration of calcium ions to be 1.3×〖10〗^(-2) M, and concentration of hydroxide ions to…

Here the bacteria and virus is killed or deactivated by the UV lamp. The water that comes out of the UV filter is 100% safe and…
