1. Who is the narrator of the case study and why is she holding the meeting?
The name of the narrator is Christy Ngam and she is a traveling health care worker employed by the Cameroonian government to teach people about family planning. She holding the meeting because, it is used by travel Cameroonian government health care worker, and her job is to provide education on family planning for those living in remote and rural areas in our country, also she hold in the new corn mill that is part of a cooperative government-funded Women's food seems the best way to reach the majority of the population, especially women because they are the main food crops farmers. Christy tells the women that she works with the Ministry of Health. Why might the government want to slow population growth and encourage family planning?
The government might slow population and encourage family planning because, of several reasons such us:
1 - Limited access to family planning services and education about contraception .Contraception and other family planning methods may not be culturally or religiously acceptable.
2 - Children are a valuable source of employment and income for the family. It can work on the ground from an early age and as they age they can make money in other jobs.
3 - Children can help to take care of young children and elderly family members.
4 - High infant mortality rates (infant mortality) means that women need to be many children in order to ensure the survival of some through to adulthood.
